Nice to meet you!

Greetings! I'm Brent Robins, proud to serve as the Teacher-Librarian for the Carlisle Community School District. I have spent my entire career dedicated to teaching, learning, and education although I have served the profession in many different roles.
  • 2022-present: District Teacher-Librarian, Carlisle Community School District
  • 2018-2022: Special Education teacher in Cedar Rapids, IA and Marion, IA
  • 2014-2018: Dean of Students in Des Moines Public Schools
  • 2011-2014: Program Director of the Safe School Certification Program in Des Moines, IA
  • 2006-2011: Instructional Designer at Principal Financial Group in Des Moines, IA
  • 2004-2006: Assistant Principal in West Des Moines Community School District
  • 1995-2004: Classroom Teacher in West Des Moines Community School District
