Welcome to Mrs. Sears' Classroom

I have been part of the Carlisle School District since 2006, spending 15 of those years as a teacher at Hartford Upper Elementary. I now serve the district as the PK-12 Special Education Learning Coordinator. 

 

After graduating from Northwest Missouri State University and starting my teaching career in Des Monies, I am happy that Carlisle is my forever home.  I have gained valuable experience through teaching reading, 5th grade, behavior intervention, and now working collaboratively with special education teachers to provide the best educational experience for all our students.  

 

When I am not thinking or preparing for my school day, you can find me with my family.  I have been married to my husband Ryan for 19 years and we have two children, a daughter Addyson (11th grade) and a son, Carson (8th grade).  We spend many nights running our two children to sporting practices and events, watching sports on TV, or playing sports in the yard...can you tell we like sports?
