Mrs. Glass, Hartford Building Learning Coordinator

My name is Jocelyn Glass. This will be my fifth year working in the Carlisle School District. I previously taught fourth grade for four years, and have now moved into the role of Building Learning Coordinator (BLC) at Hartford. I am a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa... but you will tend to see me in cardinal and gold quite often (go Iowa State AND Wildcats!). 

 

Working in education is one of my greatest passions in life. There is nothing quite as wonderful as seeing something "click" for a kid. I have the honor of working with teachers to continuously learn and grow through engaging in professional development, setting goals, and continuously looking for ways to improve practice. I am incredibly lucky to get the unique opportunity to work with and through teachers towards having a greater impact with our students. I couldn't ask to work with better teachers and students! #hartfordrocks

 

When I am not teaching, I love to read, watch movies, and play trivia games with my friends and family! I also love spending time with my husband, Tyler, and our sassy, smart, and funny 2 year old daughter, Evelyn.
