Mrs. Ray- Hartford Professional School Counselor

I am proud to be a parent and educator in the Carlisle Community School District. This is my 22nd year in education. I taught kindergarten and was a school counselor at Carlisle Elementary. I was a 4th grade classroom teacher and a remote teacher at Hartford Elementary.  I am excited for the return back to the counseling role this year. I know how important social and emotional support is for students and staff and I look forward to the opportunity.  My goal is to empower students to be aware and manage their emotions, be decision makers, and to recognize when to ask for help. 

 

When I am not teaching, I am probably at a ball field or in a gymnasium. My husband and I reside in the Carlisle community and enjoy watching and coaching our kids' sporting events and activities, cheering on the UNI Panthers and Carlisle Wildcats, being outdoors camping and boating, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
