Mrs. Fastenow ~ 4th Grade

Welcome to my class!  I am so excited to get this school year started and to get to know you.  My second year of 4th grade is going to be so much fun and you will be an important part of our team!  In our classroom we will work hard to accomplish our goals and we will celebrate our achievements.  Most importantly of all, we will have fun together!

Here’s a little about me!  The 2022-2023 school year will be my 8th year of teaching.  I grew up in Atlantic, Iowa, a small town about an hour and a half west of Des Moines.  I received my Bachelor's Degree from Simpson College. My husband Steven and I have three daughters and one son. Our oldest daughter Adalynn is 9 and just starting 4th Grade, our middle daughter McKinlee is 7 and just starting 2nd Grade, our youngest daughter Hayden who is 5 and just starting Kindergarten, and our only son Jax who is 2(and a handful). I love being outdoors, swimming at the pool, camping, going to dirt track races, reading, and being with my family and friends.
