Mr. Norton's Home Page

Hello and welcome to my web page.  My name is Mr. Tim Norton, and I serve as the Hartford Upper Elementary principal.  I am entering my 11th year as the principal at Hartford and my 23rd year in this amazing district.  Prior to being selected for this position, I served as a 2nd grade teacher, 4th grade teacher, and assistant principal in the lower elementary building.  I am extremely passionate about the education of our youth and love coming to work each day. I believe that strong relationships are the key to success for any organization and will do everything I can do develop those relationships with students, families, and staff. One of my favorite quotes is "People don't care what you know until they know that you care!"  I have been truly blessed to work with amazing individuals during my time and am happy to call Carlisle "home".  Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family (wife-Janie, sons-Nate and Jack), being outdoors, watching sports, and cheering on the Cyclones.  I am excited about the 2020-2021 school year.  #hartfordrocks
