Amber Kennedy
Welcome! I am the 2nd and 3rd grade Building Learning Coordinator at Carlisle Elementary. The 2022-23 school year is my 18th year in education and here at CES. I taught 4th grade for two years, then 3rd grade for twelve years, before transitioning to my current position. Facilitating learning for teachers and supporting them in this important work is an exciting challenge. I feel incredibly lucky to work with the amazing staff and students of Carlisle Elementary!
I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa and my master’s degree from Viterbo University. In addition to my passion for teaching and learning, I love to read, spend time with family and friends, and be active outdoors. I live in Pleasantville with my husband, Justin, and our three kids.
