Mrs. Craig's 3rd Grade

Welcome to Mrs. Craig's 3rd Grade Class! 

Hi there! My name is Alicia Craig and I am a 3rd grade teacher.  

 

The 2020-2021 school year will be my 8th year teaching 3rd grade here at Carlisle.  I graduated from Simpson College in 2014 and have a K-6 Math Masters through Western Governor's University.  I am proud to be a Wildcat! 

 

When I'm not teaching, I am usually traveling, running, reading or spending time with my family.  My husband, Tyler, and I have one son and his name is Cameron. He is about a year and a half old already and he is an active little guy.  Teddy, our 5 and half year old black lab mix is the family favorite! He definitely keeps us on our toes and gets incredibly spoiled! My husband, Tyler, works downtown at Principal Financial Group and we spend the summers traveling to many different places doing a lot of camping and backpacking through the mountains!  I also love cheering on the black and gold at Kinnick and Carver.  Go Hawkeyes!!! (Sorry to any Cyclone fans out there!) 

 

Third grade is such an awesome grade because there are so many new things to learn, along with many fun experiences!  I can't wait to make this the best year yet! If you ever have any questions, concerns, worries, please feel free to call the school or send me an email and I'd be happy to help!
