Welcome to Mrs. Moenck's 3rd Grade Class!

 

My name is Mickey Moenck (pronounced Monk). I graduated from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD, in 2011. Following graduation, I taught 4 years of 4th grade in Nebraska before moving to Iowa. I have taught both second and third grade here at Carlisle!

 

A little about me! I married my wonderful husband, Heath in 2017. He is the Head Cross Country and Track coach at Simpson College in Indianola. We welcomed our beautiful daughter into the world on June 7th, 2020. Her name is Eden.

 

When I am not grading papers or doing lesson plans, you can find me reading, running, or fishing! I've run two marathons. I love all sports, but basketball and softball are my favorite. I help coach softball at Simpson College. I love my cat, Vivian. She is a very mischievous Calico who tries to act like an angel. Can you find her in the picture below?
