Mr. Stecker K-5 Physical Education
This will be my 10th year overall of teaching and my 6th year here at Carlisle and it has nice to meet so many new students and families over the past couple years. Its getting nice where I can walk down the hallways at just about any of the 4 schools and recognize the majority of the students walking in the halls or out for sports, makes me feel a lot more comfortable as someone not only teaching in the community but as living here as well. I'm originally from Williamsburg where I graduated in '06 and then attended Loras College in Dubuque. Last year I helped coach MS Basketball and Track and will be doing the same thing again this upcoming school year, which I'm looking forward to. In the mornings I will be over at Hartford where I will be co-teaching 4th and 5th grade then afterwards I will be at the elementary for the rest of the day. When I'm not at school I like to play golf, sand volleyball, and basketball, which I try to do as much as possible during the summer time. A few other things I enjoy doing are heading up to Ames for ISU football games and hanging out with family/friends, especially when boating is included. When it comes to sports I'm a big Iowa State Cyclone fan along with the Green Bay Packers. If you want to know anything else about me or have any questions just let me know!
