Location

The Carlisle School District encompasses Carlisle, Hartford, Avon Lake, and a portion of southeast Des Moines, and is located southeast of the City of Des Moines in Central Iowa.

The communities that form the district are commonly referred to as PEACH (Palmyra, Easter Lake, Avon Lake, Carlisle, Hartford).
