Middle School

Hello!  My name is Greg Marshall and I am the principal of Carlisle Middle School.  It is our goal to serve students through rigorous learning experiences and promote a sense of belonging for every student every day.

 

At Carlisle Middle School we want to empower students to reach their full potential.  The cornerstone of CMS' success is built upon the foundation of its staff operating as a Professional Learning Community; we collaboratively focus on academic success through assessment for learning according to each student's needs.

 

At CMS, our staff prioritizes relationships to engage all students in rigorous academic levels; this not only assists them in a successful transition to Carlisle High School, but also begins the process for preparing them for success in college-and/or-career-programs. 

 

Along with core courses, CMS also offers Project Lead The Way (PLTW), Computer Programming, 2D/3D Art, Forensic Science, Intro to Business, Graphic Design, Band and Choir, providing students with a well rounded explore experience.  Furthermore, we offer several Pre-High School credit classes including Algebra 1, Physical Science, and Spanish 1.

 

CMS runs a block schedule, which means students will have 4 classes each day alternating on Red and Gold days.  Four (4) times a week we also have an embedded intervention period called WIN ("Whatever I Need") which is tailored towards specific student needs in the areas of core academics.
